Gostiniy Dvor is one of the most beautiful monuments of Moscow and in the same time it is a modern business, cultural and trade center. Gostiniy Dvor was founded in the sixteenth century by Ivan the Terrible. It is situated 150 km from the Kremlin. In the end of eighteenth century Gostiniy Dvor was rebuilt as one building. This elegant architecture became a new decoration of Moscow. The uniqueness of Gostiniy Dvor is not only in its location (it’s situated in the heart of Moscow, five minutes to walk from Red Square) but also in its exquisite artistic architecture.
