| | | | | | | | | Our guests have great possibility to visit "School of ballet named by L.V. Jacobson" that is a unique choreographic educational institution. Here children start to be trained in ballet in 6 years and even earlier (in state ballet schools-from 10 years), and by 11-12 years they reach such level of skill, that they can perform brilliantly the most complex parties from repertoire of the world ballet theatre. So, for example, girls in 11 years old can perform with ease 32 fouettes, that each prima ballerina can not! Many pupils of our school are winners, laureates and diplomats of different International ballet competitions and festivals.
 
In repertoire of the " School of ballet named by L.V. Jacobson" there are ballets "Nutcracker" by P.I. Tchaikovsky, " Three pigs " on music of modern composers, Grand-pas from L. Minkusa's ballet "Pakhita", one-act ballet "Dream", on Schubert's music, the greater concert program. Now the performance is prepared for an output, “Swan Lake by P.I. Tchaikovsky in magnificent decorations and suits made by the best artists of Saint-Petersburg and Moscow. The first night of "Swan Lake" took place in September, 2006. The performance is carried out by forces of pupils of “School of ballet named by L.V. Jacobson" in association with actors organized in 2005 by directory of the school, V.Kuramshin and I.Saparov, of the theatre of ballet "Choreographic miniatures ". At this theatre graduates of school dance, and also actors from Saint -Petersburg, other cities of Russia and the foreign countries are invited, wishing to receive invaluable experience and practice of work in capital of world ballet - Saint-Petersburg.
